Stirling has been settled since the 11th century and has been fought over many times between the Scots and the English due to its geographic position as a gateway to the north and easy access over the River Forth

It is now a thriving expanding city with a population of around  50,000.    

It is has a busy retail centre with a great selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.

For the history buffs you can visit the Castle, Battle of Bannockburn centre, Wallace Monument, Old Town Jail and Church of the Holyrude.

Doune Castle is about 7 miles away and famous as a film set for Monty Python and more recently in the TV series, Outlander.

Ravenswood Guest House was built in 1890 as a family home and has now been converted in to a four bedroom guest house offering bed and breakfast.

All rooms offer comfortable beds, en-suite facilities, smart TV and super fast reliable wi-fi.

There is off street parking at the front of the house for three cars and street parking on Buchanan Drive a 30 second walk if it is busy.

EV charger for guest use is available (charges apply).

The house is located one mile from Stirling city centre which is easily accessible by bus, car or a walk over Old Stirling Bridge.
