Doune Castle: 14th century courtyard castle. The gate house contains the splendid Duke’s hall with carved oak screen and musicians gallery.
Falkirk Wheel: The world’s only rotating boatlift connecting the Forth & Clyde canal with the Union canal. Modern engineering replaces 11 canal locks.
Green Welly Stop, Tyndrum: World famous self-service restaurant, licensed with all food home-made. Specialist shops for outdoor clothing, whisky, food and gifts.
Inchmahome Priory: Beautiful island-based Augustinian monastery founded in 1238. Much of the 13th century building survives.

Linlithgow Palace: This magnificent royal palace was birthplace of mary, queen of Scots, and residence of many Stewart Kings.
MacRobert at the University of Stirling: offers an exciting programme of events that welcomes everyone. Choose from a fantastic programme of live events including theatre, dance and music. There is also a full cinema programme with films showing to suit all ages and tastes. There are lots of fun activities for children and young people: creative factories, supervised arts and craft sessions in treehouse, tailor made birthday parties, and youth theatre and dance groups.
National Wallace Monument: When the two countries faced each other at the Battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297, Scotland was led to victory by a figure destined to become a national hero - William Wallace. All the drama of his campaign for freedom is captured at The National Wallace Monument - proudly standing on the Abbey Craig, overlooking the city of Stirling.
Scottish Antique & Arts Centre: Visitor Centre in Perthshire (Abernyte) and Stirlingshire (Doune). Antiques, design led furniture, art, luxury food shop, Ruryk Fare and restaurant, Cafe Circa. Open 7 days, 10 am - 5 pm.
Scottish Wool Centre: Daily demonstrations and shows including dog and duck on from April to October. Clothing for all the family, food hall and gifts. Whisky shop and restaurant.
Stirling Castle: Among the grandest of all Scottish castles, both in its situation and in its architecture. Magnificient renaissance palace, great hall and Chapel Royal.
Stirling Farmers Market: Held every second Saturday of each month from 9am to 3pm at Port Street, pedestrian area of the town centre.
